Final Critique

 Final Critique Monday, May 8th, 2023 @ 1:15pm - 3:15pm

Please try to be there around 1pm so we can start at 1:15pm. 

Note: Coming to Final Critique late could result in 10 points being subtracted from the Final Jpegs & Print Grade.   

Last Week of Classes

The following must be completed by the end of class on Wednesday May 3, 2023: 

A minimum of three final jpegs, (See Jpeg File Setting below) make sure they are the best of best; Composition, Editing, Lighting, Props, Background, etc. along with a print of the one you think is the strongest of the three.

 Please have your jpeg files are download to the Google drive folder labeled "Assignment #2: Portrait" by 1pm on Monday, April 10th.

 Class will meet in the Mac lab @ 2pm today.

 Please be prepared to work on EX #3, #4 & #5

Make sure you bring your external hard drives. 

Monday Jan 30

 We will be editing and turning in the files for Exercise #1 during class. 

Monday Jan 23 - Studio Demo

Everyone will be meeting in the studio, WTFA 131, @ 2pm. 

Please be on time. I will be going over studio protocols, proper use of studio equipment and Exercise #1. 

The studio is a small space with little ventilation, masks are recommended.   

Welcome to Intro to Studio Lighting

This site is for students enrolled in PHO 210.001 (M/W 2pm to 5pm) Intro to Studio Lighting, during the Spring Semester of 2023. 

Please check this site often during the semester for up dates on assignments and where to meet each week.

Attendance on the first day of class is mandatory!

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023 we will meet in WTFA 201 Digital Lab.  There is a lot of material to cover that first day so please be on time and be prepared to take notes and to stay awhile. We will be going over studio & equipment safety protocols etc.  Failing to come that first day could result in being dropped from the course.
